The Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a highly purified, partially depolymerized cellulose derivative obtained from plant fibers, primarily wood pulp. Market growth is being driven by increasing demand from pharmaceutical and food industries, along with rising consumer preference for natural and plant-based ingredients. Innovations in MCC production technologies are also enhancing product purity and performance. However, challenges include price fluctuations in raw materials, strict regulatory standards, and availability of substitutes.
