The metal’s ability to withstand high temperatures without deforming also makes it invaluable in the production of rocket engine nozzles and aerospace components.

The defense industry also depends heavily on tungsten. Because of its density—almost twice that of lead—it is used to manufacture armor-piercing ammunition and radiation shielding. Its non-toxic nature compared to lead has made it a preferred choice for environmentally conscious military and medical applications.

In recent years, tungsten has gained attention for its potential in sustainable technologies. It is used in wind turbine components, high-efficiency lighting, and electronic devices that require minimal energy loss. The growing demand for renewable energy and electric vehicles is expected to further drive the global tungsten market, as industries seek materials capable of enduring extreme operational conditions.
