U4GM What Are the Top Black Ops 7 Beta Weapons Tips Guide
Queue into the Black Ops 7 beta for a couple hours and you’ll feel it fast: your gun is doing most of the talking, and the wrong pick gets you deleted before your slide even matters. If you’re chasing consistency, CoD BO7 Boosting is one of those things people bring up, but even with help you still need a loadout that actually wins the first burst, the first trade, the first corner check.
Assault rifles: safe picks vs. commitment guns
The M15 MOD 0 is the “thank goodness” AR. It stays calm when you’re stressed, and that matters in this beta where fights happen off one missed bullet. The MXR-17 is the opposite vibe. It punches hard at range, sure, but it feels heavy, like you’re always a half-step late. If you’re using it, you’re basically signing up to pre-aim lanes and live on head-glitches. The Peacekeeper MK1 sits in a weird middle space: it wants to be an SMG, and it’ll act like one, right up until recoil reminds you it’s not. Keep your bursts tight or you’ll lose easy kills.
SMGs: the lobby’s comfort food
Right now, SMGs are where a lot of players land because they make the game feel responsive again. The Dravec 45 is the standout for a reason. It chews people up close, but it doesn’t fall apart the second you challenge mid. It’s the kind of gun that makes you take one extra fight you probably shouldn’t, and you get away with it. If you’re more about raw speed, Razor 9mm and Ryden 45k are nasty in tight rooms, but they’re twitchy. Miss your first shots and you’re just drawing circles around a target. Graz 45k is friendlier, especially if you’re still learning spawns, but it won’t bail you out with instant TTK.
Marksman and snipers: lane control is real
The M8A1 marksman rifle is the one everybody’s quietly building around. Four-round burst, barely any wander, and it wins lanes like it’s a ranked rule set already. You’ll see teams lock a street with two M8A1s and suddenly nobody’s crossing. Sniping is workable with the VS Recon, and the chest one-shots feel great when you’re in rhythm. XR-3 ION, though, has that delay that makes you second-guess your timing, and in this beta a half-beat is enough to get you traded.
Secondaries and slow guns that still matter
Don’t treat your pistol like a decoration. Jäger 45 is the “get me out” option when your mag hits zero at the worst time. CODA 9 is fun because it’s basically a tiny SMG, but you’ll burn ammo so fast you’ll swear the gun’s leaking. And if you’re anchoring, MK.78 LMG can glue a zone down, just don’t pretend you’re going to sprint around with it. People trying to force that playstyle are free kills. If you want to keep pace with the meta, build around M8A1 or Dravec 45, then tune everything else to support how you actually take fights, not how you wish you did, and if you’re looking for cheap CoD BO7 Boosting it makes more sense when your setup isn’t fighting you every spawn.
